One of the things I like most about Los Angeles is getting out of it. Even if just for a day. Today I'm in Santa Barbara to watch "Holes" with director Andrew Davis at the Granada Theater which is continuing its series of screening films by artists who call Santa Barbara home. I loved this movie when it was first released and have not seen it since. I remember it as being a great blend of whimsical, scary, and a little creepy on the side. We'll see how my memory serves, it starts in an hour. Meanwhile there's a farmers market to enjoy and of course ever-lovely State Street. Hope you're having a good weekend!
